Autumn days in Yamba are some of my very favourite. Mornings and evenings are cool with perfectly mild day temperatures. This past Saturday was one of those days. On Saturday, after months of hard work, Riverside Ranch owners Chris and Fred Welsh welcomed the public to come and see their newest project, The Moondance Saloon. They have lovingly renovated their horse stable to be an all-weather, sound-proof wedding reception venue. Engagement sessions always bring an element of unknown. What do I do in front of the camera? Where do I look? What should I do with my hands? Should I look at the camera? It is also often the first time we are meeting our couples!  In general, the first fifteen minutes will be awkward. We try to set this as an expectation from the start! One of the most endearing things about where we live is that it is a beautiful balance of both country and coastal living. Having grown up in Sydney and spending much of my adult life there, this has taken some getting used to...in fact, I am still getting use to it after 5 years! That said, I am thankful to be able to offer this lifestyle to our growing children. I am thankful for our coastline! And I adore the calming hues of the ocean. Yep, I am a sucker for greenery and botanically themed anything! In fact, I generally only buy greenery when I visit a florist and every plant in our garden has been selected for the colour of its flower (white!) and its ability to be cut and brought inside.  Which brings us to our new collection!
