Warm, joyful and authentic. After six years together, four years engaged and a ten month old daughter, Rebecca and Alex showed a comfort with each other that is such a privilege to capture. My challenge to you is to get to the end of this post without a smile on your face! Bec and Alex, you guys make six years together look good! To View More >>

The clouds came over and the winds were blowing. In the distance we could see a storm gathering over Yamba. There was a sense of urgency to get this show on the road! All of their loved ones were gathered to witness them making the committment to a lifetime partnership. Umbrellas were underneath seats...just in case. Last year, as we rescheduled their engagement session due to horrible weather, we joked about rain on the wedding day. Apparently there has been a pattern of poor weather for these two! Severe storms had been on the forecast all week. Thankfully, as they said "I do" we watched the To View More >>

On Saturday, after months of hard work, Riverside Ranch owners Chris and Fred Welsh welcomed the public to come and see their newest project, The Moondance Saloon. They have lovingly renovated their horse stable to be an all-weather, sound-proof wedding reception venue. Many of Yamba's local wedding vendors collaborated to style, cater and photograph this event which as you will see was full of good quality, colour and fun. Stunning styling by the talented Sarah from Ivy Lane and Co and Mel from Wildflower Wanderings. A sweet ceremony set-up under the fig tree by Yamba Weddings and Events. We did To View More >>

Engagement sessions always bring an element of unknown. What do I do in front of the camera? Where do I look? What should I do with my hands? Should I look at the camera? It is also often the first time we are meeting our couples!  In general, the first fifteen minutes will be awkward. We try to set this as an expectation from the start! Some of the things we ask can also feel a bit awkward. On camera, what feels weird tends to look great, o ur goal being to capture images where our couples look their best AND tell a story. We do this through posing and our use of light. With all of that said, To View More >>

If you have been following us on social media, you would have already seen us post about our upcoming launch of "The Print Room". This will be a small section of our business where photography, design and print come together! About 4 years ago, I opened an Etsy shop which offered invitation and stationary design to the global market. The Print Room will be a similar service for Brides and Grooms in our local Clarence Valley and beyond. Our goal is to offer a local option for your Wedding Stationary and potentially streamline your wedding planning!  We are in the process of putting together To View More >>

One of the things we love about photography is that no two sessions are ever the same. That's because no two couples are ever the same! We hadn't met Tahlia and Nathaniel yet and it was so lovely to see them as they approached us from their car with warm smiles and confidence. This warmth and confidence continued through the entire session and we are pretty sure the images show it! These guys were pretty clear on two things: they love winter and they don't love the beach. They have chosen the stunning venue at Riverside Ranch, Yamba as their wedding venue. Owned by Fred and Chris Welsh, this To View More >>

The first time we met was for coffee at Botero. Instantly, we fell in love with their story and the commitment they had already made in their relationship. They have shown so much faith and maturity! What a privilege to not only witness such a delightful relationship but capture it also. Thank you for trusting us, Chris and Eliza! They handled this session with so much ease. From Chris' contagious smile to Eliza's expressive brown eyes. In fact, their joy was so contagious that even my cheeks were sore by the end! You two will make a gorgeous bride and groom. We are so excited for your wedding To View More >>
