REBECCA AND ALEX - A BEAUTIFUL AUTUMN WEDDING AT RIVERSIDE RANCH YAMBA

Autumn days in Yamba are some of my very favourite. Mornings and evenings are cool with perfectly mild day temperatures. This past Saturday was one of those days. The sun was shining and the air was peacefully still.

I arrived at Riverside Ranch to see that much work had been done the day before. The Ceremony and Reception locations were ready to go. The Bride and her Bridesmaids were tucked away in the Bridal Suite having their hair and make-up done by the team at Zig Zag Hair. The Groom arrived shortly after to put little Ruby down for a nap and to get himself ready. Everything was coming together beautifully and surrounded by a great group of people, the rest of the day went just as smoothly.

While taking photos of this joyful couple was an absolute delight, there were two moments on this day that made my heart fill with thankfulness. The first of these was watching tears gently roll down Alex’s cheek as he gazed upon his precious daughter and then his bride walking down the aisle to meet him. It was an emotional moment as his love for them overflowed. The second moment was when Alex and Bec made their vows to each other. They had written their own words to say in front of the intimate crowd that had gathered. Beautifully authentic words that made it hard for me not to tear up!

It was a joy to capture your day and I hope everyone who see’s the photos can relive the story with you. Thank you for the privilege!
