I thought it would be a good idea to introduce ourselves! This is us, Mitch, Eleasha, Ezra and Shiloh.
Mitch and I are soon to celebrate our 7th Wedding Anniversary! It feels like just yesteday that we started this crazy journey but yet we have done so much together! Just check out those two sweet children for starters! The Bible passage used at our wedding was Colossians 3 : 17 " And whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him." This is the foundation of everything we do.
Mitch originally trained as a primary school teacher and has spent numerous years in the classroom. Following that, he has taken over the family business that was pioneered by his grandfather, Bruinsma Grasstrees. This keeps him pretty busy but he still manages to be a very kind and gentle husband and father. He also supports me in this business and assists me in most photo sessions.
Eleasha (that's me!) also trained as a teacher! My first year in front of a classroom was in 2002...boy was I young! I currently spend three days a week homeschooling our eldest child Ezra. I get pretty excited by educational resources and love that I get to share that with my children. The other two days are generally spent on my photography. Improving my skills, editing images and client interactions take up a good part of those days. I have been an avid photographer for as long as I can remember and purchased my first DSLR in 2008.
Ezra, our sweet firstborn, is currently 5 and making his way through kindy. He has a quiet, gentle nature but can be pretty cheeky around the people he feels safe with. He loves Lego, doing any craft possible and numbers. He has an impeccable eye for detail and the most lovely, sparkly brown eyes I have ever seen!
Our beautiful Shiloh has just turned 4! Although she is not formally in school, she spends a lot of time learning alongside her big brother. She bubbles with joy and has had our family laughing since she was just a baby. She LOVES everything and spends a big part of our days telling me how much she loves me. She bounces, hops, skips and jumps everwhere she goes.
Collectively, we value kindness, people, marriage and family. We also love learning, exploring new places, scooting and good food!
