Between the window shaking thunderstorms on Friday night and the drizzling rain all of Sunday, Saturday was a picture perfect Winter’s day in Yamba. We were filled with anticipation leading up to this wedding. Not only was the weather forecast unpredictable, but also Saturday, on their wedding day, would be the first time we would actually meet Emma and Mark. We arrived as the girls were getting ready and were immediately met with a warm hug and a big friendly welcome. Their radiant smiles and relaxed attitudes were infectious. Generous, kind, relaxed, thoughtful. These are the first words that come to mind as I reflect on Tahlia and Nathaniel and their gorgeous wedding day. In Saturday’s afternoon winter sunshine by the old fig tree they very beautifully committed their lives to each other and then threw a seriously great party. Their love for each other is obvious – which made capturing it really enjoyable for us. But to be honest, I was just as awestruck by their obvious love for their family and friends. This warmth and confidence continued through the entire session and we are pretty sure the images show it! These guys were pretty clear on two things: they love winter and they don't love the beach. They have chosen the stunning venue at Riverside Ranch, Yamba as their wedding venue. Owned by Fred and Chris Welsh, this To View More >>

Two weeks ago, in the midst of what feels like a crazy exhausting time in our lives, we were reminded why we love photographing weddings so much: it’s an entire day where we’re able to get completely lost in other people. It was such a gift to be able to spend this day putting other people first. To forget about anything and everything that’s happening in our world — and be invited into one of the most important days in someone else’s world. Interestingly, one of the first things Chris and Eliza asked when we had a brief moment together at the reception To View More >>
