On Saturday, after months of hard work, Riverside Ranch owners Chris and Fred Welsh welcomed the public to come and see their newest project, The Moondance Saloon. They have lovingly renovated their horse stable to be an all-weather, sound-proof wedding reception venue. Between the window shaking thunderstorms on Friday night and the drizzling rain all of Sunday, Saturday was a picture perfect Winter’s day in Yamba. Generous, kind, relaxed, thoughtful. These are the first words that come to mind as I reflect on Tahlia and Nathaniel and their gorgeous wedding day. Engagement sessions always bring an element of unknown. What do I do in front of the camera? Where do I look? What should I do with my hands? Should I look at the camera? It is also often the first time we are meeting our couples!  In general, the first fifteen minutes will be awkward. We try to set this as an expectation from the start!
